A recent Bloomberg article shows a growing trend in people having their tattoos removed. Many of those that are opting for the tattoo removal are young career professionals who feel the stigma of having their tattoos displayed within a professional environment.
With almost 100,000 people seeking tattoo treatment a year, New technology Tattoo ink like the one developed by freedom 2 inc. (http://www.freedom2ink.com/) would allow people easily have their tattoo removed quickly and more effectively.
The new tattoo ink technology uses microscopic laser sensitive beads that dissolve during laser treatment. On the companies website they also state that the new ink covers other health concerns…
Freedom-2 ink ’s microencapsulated biocompatible materials address concerns related to adverse skin responses, allergic reactions, infections, inflammation and adverse systemic retort.
With many of the current tattoo removal treatments requiring multiple visits, the price of the treatment generally costs almost ten times the cost of having the tattoo originally done. Current prices for the tattoo removal treatments range from around $100 - $700 per visi, with as many as 8 to 12 visits. This is dependant on the type of tattoo and the type and color of the ink.
The total usually tops that for getting the art in the first place. A tattoo the size of a matchbox may cost around $75 to apply. The price for removing it would be about that much for each treatment, totaling $500 to $750.
As in previous articles i’ve mentioned that the new technology made available by Freedom 2 Ink has caused stir within the tattooing industry, but based on the number of people getting treatment for the tattoo removal, there’s a definite market for Freedom 2 Ink.
