A recent article in the Sun Sentinal in south florida reported that 17 percent of people that had tattoo have considered removing their tattoos. The reasons include a change in lifestyle or personal tastes, work pressure , growing older, biological changes that distorts the image.
Though the number one reason for wanting their tattoo removed was, they were growing tired of it and novelty was wearing off.
While i was surprised by the percentage of people looking to have their tattoos removed, im not surprised by their reasons behind it. For those that grew tired of their tattoos, all i can suggest is “Think before you ink” to anyone looking at getting a tattoo.
